WOW! What an amazing time we have had since September.
At Help Save Lives, we have been SO busy. We have added another 3000 FAB First Aid trained children to our total figure, which now is coming up to 45,000. That’s nearly 45,000 potential little life savers, now and in their future.
Our new CPR training is going exceptionally well using our child friendly manikins – Betty & Bobby. In every class, we install into the children how and why we perform CPR by using our CPR rhyme
PUSH PUSH PUMP THE HEART – THAT’S WHAT CPR IS!
The children love it. Just last week, we had 90 Year 5 & 6 children at Langafel Primary school chanting this rhyme while teams of them were performing CPR in such an exciting way. It’s one of them where you had to be there. But, as you can imagine, this one of the highlights of my 4 years of training children. The school emailed me after the training:
‘Thank you, Rhona. We all enjoyed the training, and the children had a wonderful time.’
More exciting news. We are now working with sponsors. In December and January, we will be training Higham & Shorne Primary schools in Kent. This is thanks to Baylis Landscapes and Joanna’s Hair & Beauty.
This week, we will have 2 schools and a nursery in the Liverpool area equipped with our LifeVac choking rescue device. This is thanks to C&C Catering Equipment Ltd, C&C Catering Engineers Ltd and C&C Catering Fabrications Ltd. More details to come.
