Just had a wonderful day at Poverest Primary School. Such a lovely school.
This is our third year training Year 2 and Year 6. As per previous years, the children were amazing. As well as being excellent listeners, they all thoroughly enjoyed learning new things today including how and why we use a defibrillator. This showed as they all passed the FAB First Aid exam at the end with flying colours.
As we had 2 hour classes today, we covered all the main First Aid subjects including CPR training plus at the end we had time for the children to practice bandaging. They all really to enjoyed it. Some of the bandaging was that good, we could have some budding doctors and nurses in the future!
