Oh wow! What a start to 2024. We have trained nearly 1000 Primary school children already!
Last week we introduced all of the children from Reception class to Year 6 at Shorne Primary school in Kent to FAB First Aid. This was Thanks to 2 local businesses – Baylis Landscapes Ltd and Joanna’s Haire & Beauty. This is what the school had to say:
‘Today the children had a brilliant time taking part in a first aid workshop, run by Rhona at Help Save Lives Medical & Training Supplies
The training was highly professional but also lots of fun! The children learned how and why we perform CPR and got to practise on the Betty and Bobby manikins whilst singing the very catchy words of ‘Push push pump the heart’. They also learnt about the Emergency Services and how to contact them. Rhona discussed bumps/burns and how to stop choking. At the end of the class every child received a First Aid book, certificate and sticker.
